Introduction
The story of Cyberpunk City’s journey to xDay2023 began two months ago. It all started at the beginning of August this year when we initiated discussions with the MultiversX team about securing a booth for our beloved project during xDay.
With great enthusiasm, we had a mission to make our presence at xDay2023 memorable. This entailed a meticulous organization process that was aimed at wowing our audience.
As we plunged deeper into our preparations, we had the challenge of securing six visas, which finally came through with some effort on our part and Multivers’s. Meanwhile, our game’s development continued, with a significant focus on creating a trailer that would captivate the hearts of all who watched it.
The days leading up to xDay were filled with numerous calls, from coordinating booth requirements to understanding the regulations set forth by MultiversX. We also had discussions about the innovative xPortal and the avatars, but more on that later.
Travel Plans
We decided to split our team into two groups to ensure that we brought our equipment in tip-top shape. The first group would travel by land, carrying all the technical and heavy equipment with them, while the second group would take to the skies, transporting the lighter items like gifts and merchandise.
The lead-up to the event was a whirlwind, with less than one full night of sleep. But on the second day, we arrived, ready to set up our booth once MultiversX had completed their part.
xDay2023: Day 1
Cyberpunk City Booth
The Cyberpunk City booth at xDay2023 was nothing short of a showstopper. It exceeded our expectations, drawing in a significant number of visitors, including gamers, builders, influencers, investors, CEOs, politicians, and even children. The vibrant colors and dynamic atmosphere lured everyone in.
Guests enjoyed our game, admired our setup, and even took pictures with our cosplay actresses. To make the experience even more unforgettable, we treated them to Turkish delight and gifted them with Cyberpunk City t-shirts.
The Cinematic Trailer
The moment of truth arrived when we unveiled our cinematic trailer on the main stage. The response was overwhelming, and many complimented the quality and beauty of that trailer. To witness it for yourself, check out the trailer here.

Jack’s Speech
Jack took center stage to deliver a speech following the trailer’s resounding success. The topic of his discussion was none other than “Why Video Games Have Changed Forever.”
Jack’s speech provided a glimpse into the technological advancements that await us in Cyberpunk City. He underlined how web3 and AI have become more vital than ever in the world of gaming.
xPortal’s Remarkable Role
Sergiu Biris showcased a remarkable use case of xPortal with his avatar in Cyberpunk City. After acquiring an avatar from xPortal, he got into the metaverse to buy NFTs, engage in a race, and even show off his dance moves, which he spectacularly performed on stage. xDay2023: Day 2
Hackathon Panel
The Hackathon Panel was a fascinating opportunity for our team to engage in a discussion about the world of blockchain-based game development. The conversation aimed to shed light on the intricacies of creating a quality game and offered valuable insights into the management and development process.
Beniamin’s Favorite Startup
In an interview, Beniamin was asked about his favorite startup, and he didn’t hesitate to name Cyberpunk City as his current favorite. His words were nothing short of an endorsement: “At the moment, I think that Cyberpunk City is something not only interesting, but that takes things in a direction where a lot of the interaction of the game is improved so that you can do all the things in the game with tokens or other assets that you have in wallet, to be able to interact, to be able to sign and have your own avatar, it’s something that seems to improve the game a lot.”
We take immense pride in these words, viewing them as a testament to being on the right path.
xDay2023: Day 3
Community Awards
A momentous occasion arrived when we won not just one, but two awards. The categories were “The Most Creative Project” and “The Best Designed Project.”

xDay2023 wasn’t just about showcasing our project; it was about connecting and engaging with people from all parts of life. The event gave us the privilege of forming connections and meeting extraordinary individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Among the most heartwarming encounters were those with our community members. It was a profoundly gratifying experience to meet the people supporting us on this remarkable journey.
